1) To write letters

La maestra scrive sulla lavagna.The teacher writes on the blackboard.

2) To put a text on paper

Laura scrive una lettera alla nonna.Laura writes a letter to her grandmother.
Il professore sta scrivendo un saggio.The professor is writing an essay.

3) To put an official document on paper

Il segretario deve scrivere un verbale.The secretary has to write some minutes.

3) To write sth to sb

Scrivo a mio cugino tutti i mesi.I write to my cousin every month.
Ti scriverò non appena potrò!I will write to you as soon as I can!
