You can translate to be right as essere giusto if you’re talking about something.
| Quello che dici è giusto. | What you’re saying is right. |
However, when someone is right, you need to use avere ragione or essere nel giusto.

| Nessuno di loro aveva ragione. | None of them were right. | |
