Avere ragione
To be right
You can translate to be right as essere giusto if you’re talking about something.
Quello che dici è giusto.
What you’re saying is right.
However, when someone is right, you need to use avere ragione or essere nel giusto.

Dovevo ammettere che Jane aveva ragione.
I had to admit that Jane was right.
Nessuno di loro aveva ragione.
None of them were right.
Si scoprì che Paul aveva sempre avuto ragione.
